The person who creates the game plays white and moves first. The friend who opens the link plays black.

How do pawns promote?

A pawn that reaches the last row becomes a queen automatically.

How strong is the computer?

Easy makes mistakes on purpose and suits beginners. Medium and Hard calculate ahead and will punish pieces left unprotected — Hard thinks deeper but takes a little longer. You play white against the computer.
