Carrom rules used in this game
- The first player plays the white coins, the second player plays black.
- Pocket one of your own coins and you get another shot.
- Pocketing the striker is a foul: you lose your turn and one pocketed coin returns to the centre.
- The red queen must be “covered”: after pocketing it, pocket one of your own coins in the same or the next shot. If you don’t, the queen goes back to the centre.
- The queen must be covered before anyone pockets their last coin.
- The first player to pocket all 9 of their coins wins.
Tips
- Soft shots are often better than hard ones — they keep coins near the pockets for your next turn.
- Use the dotted guide line to line up shots, including bank shots off the side walls.
- Clear coins that block the pockets in front of your baseline first.
